Disassociate style from emails

Service: Eve Community

In the Eve control panel I see

Eve Control Panel » Display Settings » Style Editor

"Please note that if you are associating this style with emails, it should not contain any javascript. Emails that contain javascript will not render properly."

I've just made huge changes to the  custom HTML and we now have navigation aids in the sections immediately following the </head> and immediately preceding the closing </body>.

Email notifications contain all that html.

How do I turn off the inclusion of the custom HTML in email notifications?

The site URL is http://bose.infopop.cc

Hi ST-

You'll just want to make sure that the style you just created is not associated with emails. You associate styles on the Style Association control panel page. Go to your: Eve Control Panel > Eve > Display > Assignments page.

You'll see a page like this:

Note the "Email" rows under the Platform, Forums, and Chat sections... those are the rows you want to associate with a style that does not have javascript.  Thus, you can either use one of our generic styles or create your own that matches your main site style, but without the javascript, for each of those "Email" rows.

Does that make sense?

Thank you Ted,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. We were in the middle of a total face-lift of the site and there was a lot going on.

Yes, this made sense and I was able to make a new Email style and associate that with the "Email" rows.

Thank you.
