Re: What is UBB???

Rosemary O'Neill ·
Hi! UBB is the brand name of our forum product (and was our original forum name since back in 1996). We made the decision recently to re-add that branding within Hoop.la (as you noticed, there was no technology change associated with that, just a naming change). Trivia bonus: UBB stood for "Ultimate Bulletin Board" back in the olden days Have a great week! Rosemary

Re: Responsive Design Project

Slaz ·
Sounds good! Yet I hope this 'phasing stage' allows us to make and test a new theme prior to the permanent rollout. Otherwise visitors might feel like they're visiting a different site instead of an updated version of the site they know. That's how important themes are. In my eyes, themes are a site's soul in an otherwise faceless body of information. Maybe make a 'test site' of some sort when the final product is ready? This would allow preparation of a fresh theme without your main site...

Re: Responsive Design Project

Ted O'Neill ·
Hi Slaz- Yes, indeed. The whole point of the staging area will be to allow you to create/test themes and custom CSS on the responsive platform prior to actually moving your site onto it.

Re: The Advanced Reporting Release

Julia M Usher ·
Great stuff. One question: In the Activity Point formula, there's a reference to points earned for the author having a post on a support topic "marked as best answer." Can one enable this "best answer" feature in their own community forums? If so, how? I can't seem to locate this option on Hoop.la. Thanks.

Re: The Advanced Reporting Release

Jonmark Weber ·
Hey Julia, Your site should not be seeing that activity event. It should go away in a future release. Sorry for any confusion that may have caused you.

Re: The Advanced Reporting Release

Just to clarify what Jonmark said... the "mark as best answer" action is a feature in QuestionShark, our customer support product/module. Thus, sites that do not have QuestionShark enabled will never have that option available.
