Hi Laura- Thanks for reporting. It looks like the issue is simply a display issue in the WYSIWYG editor (when you are composing your post). Upon submittal of the post, the numbers display correctly. We'll investigate and see if we can fix that, of course!
Hi, John: If you go here: https://ccdware.infopop.cc/cp/permissions/general You'll see that GENERALLY, only Super Admins have permissions to post replies/comments (and a lot of other stuff). You'll want to go through that list and adjust it so your members can do whatever you'd like them to do. These are the general permissions, and then each forum can be set specifically as you like. Yes, there is: On each post, in the lower right-hand corner, is a small yellow triangle. If a member clicks this, they'll be taken to a page where they can explain why they are reporting the post. Then they'll click the "Submit" button, and the notification is sent. As the Admin, you'll want to make sure that you are alerted when a post is reported. Hello, There is actually a option within the forum settings that controls whether the "Report a Post" icon is displayed. You may not have it enabled within your forums settings. Here is how to check. Sorry--should have addressed that, as well! It should go to the email address you are using for your Admin. Each admin or moderator who has chosen to receive the notifications by clicking the "On" button mentioned above will get an email to their account email address. Make sense?

Hey Paul- I'm not seeing the problem. Those reply popup windows are easily dragged around. I think I may see one issue, and perhaps that is what you are getting at... if you have a lot of text in the box it will auto-resize to get bigger so you can see your entire post. I could see if you post a large post there that the box could get too big. Is that what you are referring to? The solution there would be to not auto-resize the posting box in the reply popup window, which probably makes...
Hi RIch! Are you talking about inside the widget? How would you handle long forum names? Perhaps truncate after a certain number of characters? Also, one workaround (not perfect) would be to set up multiple widgets and specify the forum (then customize the widget title to say the forum name).
Yes, I'm talking about putting the forum name within the Recent Posts widget. I agree that longer forum names would have to be truncated at some point, but even that would be better than nothing at all there. I'll look into setting up separate widgets for each forum, but we have so many forums I think that would get a bit unwieldy. There's not enough screen real estate on the home page to make that work.
Well, that sure sounds like a bug, especially if you are sure the non admin user has permission to post in the forum. If the user did not have permission, then the behavior would be correct. Let me see if I can replicate the issue, though. Thanks, ST!

Hi ST, It's not a permission issue. The link in the dropdown works properly, which is why it's working for you. Regular users don't have the ability to post any other content types, so there is no dropdown. That's where the discrepancy lies and the bug comes from. Hope that helps, Brian
Hi Rich, I "dove on the grenade" and signed up for Photobucket (egads). After some testing, I discovered that you have to use the "HTML" option in Photobucket to get the code for the photo, and then toggle our WYSIWYG box to HTML mode, paste it in, and then it works. I don't know if Photobucket changed their code, or if one of our updates changed something, but that's the only method that works. Hope that helps!
Hello ST, Could you give more details about what you are trying to do as part of the first post recipe? When a post goes into moderation the only action from a recipe that will be triggered is the "Moderate Content" action. Once its approved the recipes will be processed again, this time all actions except for the "Moderate Content" action will be processed. So as long as you have your first post recipe setup properly, it should moderate the content, and then any other actions associated...

Good afternoon ST, The recipe has a "Applies To" condition that you can set, which will allow you to have the recipe apply to Content and/or Replies. The key with this recipe is that it if its set to apply to the first Content, or the first Reply then it will trigger the first time a member posts a content of that type, and then it will also trigger when the member posts their first Reply to a content of that type. Hi Emma- Removing something from the menu does not disable its functionality. To disable a module, you need to go the Structure part of your admin control panel (either for your main site or for a particular group) and disable the module(s) there by unchecking the box for the module(s). Hello ST, The post has to be the first post that the member has EVER made of that type. If you make a reply, delete that reply and make another reply the second reply will not be considered the first reply by that member. The statistics are tracked for all time, not what is actually active on the site. Does that make sense? I wonder if that may explain what you are experiencing. Jonmark

Hi Rich, there's no built-in structure for that situation, unfortunately. However, if he super trusts you, he could give you his login so you can pop in as him, view the post and give him a thumbs up or down to publish. Another option would be to have him paste it into a private message to you, and then you can say yay or nay. Hi, I've created a "First Post" recipe, but in our community all first posts are moderated. You don't get unmoderated until you hit a relatively low points threshold, but you have to get there first. I had hoped that the "First Post" trigger would be applied when a member's first post get published, (released from moderation). That seems not to be the case. Is there another way to do this? When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
