I have three custom pages on my community: one for directions to our rehearsal/performance venues, one for our fundraising program, and one for contact information.

Re: How to use a Hoop.la custom page as a landing page
I'm trying to set up a custom page, but for both Inherit or choosing a theme it is mandatory to input custom HTML. I don't have custom HTML as I want it to use the current theme's. What is the solution for this?

Re: How to use a Hoop.la custom page as a landing page
Hi Pearl, The custom HTML field is where you put the contents of your custom page. This field is required, as there's no point to having a custom page without any content on it You don't need to worry about putting any custom CSS or theme settings in that box. Does that help? Brian

Ah! That part makes sense. But what about adding widgets to the right column..so it looks like the about page?

Hoop.la doesn't currently support adding widgets to custom pages, though this is an idea we've considered for a future release.

Re: How to use a Hoop.la custom page as a landing page
Hi @Pretty Thunder ! Since this article was posted, (a couple of years ago), we have added the ability to include widgets on a custom page, so that might help you get part way there. If you'd like us to create the custom page for you, you could consider buying an hour of professional services time ($200). To take care of that (or ask more specific questions), just post a fresh support topic and we'll get you taken care of!

All Done Douglas. The old without the s version automatically redirects to the with the s version also, so that people's book marks are not broken.

Re: URL Switch
One thing I should note: dave@Davids-MacBook-Pro:~$ host community.msgnetworks.com community.msgnetworks.com is an alias for community.msgnetwork.com. community.msgnetwork.com is an alias for msg.evecommunity.net. msg.evecommunity.net has address 199.255.147.27 If you ever go to clean up your DNS and delete the old record, then the new one will stop working. You should probably fix that CNAME to point to msg.evecommunity.net directly to prevent an accident caused by cleaning up the zone file...

Re: Is the Hoop.la platform web accessible?
Hi Aaron- I'm not sure I understand your question. Yes, Hoop.la is web accessible. In fact, it is an online community platform, which is inherently on the web. I'm guessing you are intending to ask something else? Are you asking if it is mobile-accessible? If so, the answer to that is also yes. If you can clarify your question further, we'd be happy to assist. Thanks!

Re: Is the Hoop.la platform web accessible?
Hi Ted, Thanks for your response. My questions is esentially wondering if it follows WCAG or section 508 or will it pass accessibility checks? I did a few checks on the site I was referring to and found quite a few issues with accessibility.

Re: Is the Hoop.la platform web accessible?
Hi Aaron- Okay, understand your question now. You are correct, Hoop.la would not pass every accessibility guideline at this time.
