Did you ever wonder what your Hoop.la site would look like in Swahili?

Now you can expand your audience by offering visitors the option to see your Hoop.la site in the language of their choice.

Here's how to implement it on your Hoop.la site:

Go to this Google website: https://translate.google.com/manager/website/add

First, fill in the URL to your site, and select your current original language.

Click Next, and you'll see the screen below.  Choose the settings you'd like (note that you can track visitors who use the translator with your Google Analytics account).  Click Get Code.

You'll see the screen below, with your customized code.  Leave it open.  In a different browser window, go to your Hoop.la site control panel and open the theme you're using.

Copy and paste the Website Translator meta tag code in the Hoop.la theme's "Page Shell" area (look for the space that says "custom code for HEAD section." Save the change.

Next go to your Hoop.la site's Basic Settings page.  Scroll down to the header and footer areas.  You can choose to paste the Website Translator code snippet either in the header or footer (the footer would probably look best).
