Announcing the release of Eve Community version 1.3.6. We're really excited about this release because we've got a great list of new features to tell you about. Full release notes will be posted on our support site, https://hey.crowdstack.com/support but here are the goodies that we think you'll be most interested in -
* Support for video embeds. You'll see a new option in your control panel to support video embeds in forum posts. With the click of a button your users can embed Livecloud, Youtube, or other videos. No guessing, messing with HTML code or permissions, just one click and you're done.
* Login Widget. Similar to a Content Island, you can embed this widget in any web page anywhere. Users will be able to see whether or not they are logged into the forums, log in if not already logged in, or search the forums.... from anywhere.
* Inline ads on topic pages. Increase your ad location options with the ability to embed ads on the forum listing page, or between posts on a topic page. Maximize your revenue!
* Resizing of images that are embedded with UBB IMG tag. Ever have someone inline a whopping-sized image in a post? Stretched out your page? Not anymore.
* Streamlined photo album creation process. What used to take four pages is now done all on one page. Add a little Flash, a little AJAX and voilÀ, an easy-to-use and time-saving photo album creation and edit process.
In all there are quite a number of new features, tweaks, bugs fixed, and updates to your Eve Community. We have the release scheduled for Tuesday, June 1. Please expect 5 to 15 minutes downtime while the update is installed.
